The MoU, signed on May 30, 2024, aims to revolutionize cross-border trade for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Chongqing, China.
Chongqing Yumaotong, a subsidiary of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group Co., is the only state-owned foreign trade service platform in western China and a leading company in the industry.
The collaboration offers Chongqing SMEs a host of benefits, including simplified cross-border transactions, access to international markets, and comprehensive trade solutions.
Proxtera’s platform will facilitate everything from product listing and marketing to order fulfillment and customs clearance, enhancing efficiency and reducing complexity.
This MoU also strengthens China-Singapore cooperation, paving the way for a more integrated financial ecosystem between the two nations.
Proxtera, launched in 2020 as part of the Business sans Borders initiative by Singapore’s MAS and IMDA, aims to make global B2B trade more accessible and efficient for MSMEs through technology and trusted credentials.
