Now celebrating its sixth year, the Tradetech Showcase serves as a stage for tech-focused startups to present innovative solutions tackling challenges within the trade ecosystem.

Hong Kong-based startup FundFluent clinched the top spot at the 2023 GTR Ventures Tradetech Showcase, demonstrating its prowess in leveraging AI to aid small businesses and startups navigate the complexities of securing loans, government grants, and diverse funding sources. FundFluent's CEO, Jenny Au, highlighted the distinctive approach of helping small businesses articulate their narratives and connect with funding opportunities through their platform.

Since its launch in August 2022, FundFluent has successfully onboarded over 700 SMEs, facilitating access to a noteworthy US$22.3 million in funding. The startup's strategic focus on addressing the SME funding dilemma through a comprehensive data infrastructure solution garnered attention, especially against the backdrop of discussions at GTR Asia surrounding the substantial Asian Development Bank trade finance gap, disproportionately impacting SMEs.
